Bramsauga United 'B' and Gorkhali FC crowned 5th Dashain Cup champions

The 5th Dashain Cup 2026 is in the books. Over two days in Brampton, 21 teams took the field — 13 in the Open Category and 8 in the 30+ Veterans Cup — making this the biggest Dashain Cup yet.

In the Open Category, Bramsauga United 'B' lifted the trophy on home soil, taking the title from last year's champions Football Club Nepal United. Three Star FC of Kitchener finished as runner-up. The winners take home $8,000, with $3,500 for the runner-up, along with the shield and medals.

In the 30+ Veterans Cup, Gorkhali FC of London were crowned champions, with Himalayan Strikers of Scarborough finishing as runner-up. The Veterans winners receive $5,500 and the runner-up $2,500, along with the shield and medals.

Bramsauga United extends its heartfelt gratitude to every team that took part. Your passion, sportsmanship and teamwork made this tournament a memorable celebration of soccer and community — whether you lifted the trophy or simply stepped onto the field, every team contributed to its success.

A special thank you to all the players, coaches, supporters, sponsors, volunteers and well-wishers who stood behind us. The next Dashain Cup will be grander, bigger and more exciting — see you all there!
