5th Dashain Cup 2026 set for September 19–20 in Brampton

5th Dashain Cup 2026 set for September 19–20 in Brampton

Bramsauga United's 5th Dashain Cup returns September 19–20, running across Andrew McCandless Park and Jean Augustine Stadium in Brampton. The tournament is played in two categories: the 30+ Veterans Cup (Winner $5,500, Runner-up $2,500) and the Open Category (Winner $8,000, Runner-up $3,500), each with shield and medal for the top two finishers.

Ten Nepali-Canadian clubs from across Ontario are confirmed to compete, from Toronto, Mississauga, London, Barrie, Kitchener, Sudbury and Scarborough. Football Club Nepal United, last year's Open Category champions, return to Brampton looking to defend their title against a field that's grown alongside the tournament itself — this year's Dashain Cup is the biggest yet.

None of it happens without the people backing it. Thank you to this year's sponsors — Ramesh Bhattarai, Tika Pahadi, Dhan Phagami and BDR Cleaning Inc at the Silver level, and Utsav The Festivals at Bronze — and to the media partners covering the tournament: ClickAndCast, Canada Ko Kura, Toronto Nepal News, BNB Mirror and NK Photography.

Full venue details, the complete list of participating clubs, sponsors and a live countdown to kickoff are all up now on the club's Dashain Cup hub. Unity, Respect, Heritage, Competition — come be part of it.
